Hello, Bonjour, Hallo, Olá
& welcome to my portfolio!
Graduating with a BFA in Film Production, I attended Concordia University’s
Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montréal. I have since gone on to
create a body of photographic work that pairs my eye for cinematic framing
with a documentary approach to capturing images.
As revealed throughout my work, I aim to radiate a timeless feel
and sincere aesthetic. When I point my lens at a subject,
I feel that I am an intimate observer, capturing the nuances and
beauties that would otherwise be overlooked.
Since moving to Toronto in 2017, I have had the privilege
to work with and learn from executive chef and restaurateur Patrick Kriss, documenting his restaurants : Alo, Aloette, Alobar Yorkville & Salon.
While an emerging photographer, working with Alo Food Group
has lended a wide breath of knowledge and appreciation for this beloved industry. The intricacies, precision and passion present
within the culinary world has been captivating to capture
through the medium of photography.
My work has been featured in enRoute Magazine, Toronto Life Magazine, Today's Special by Phaidon, Canada's 100 Best Restaurants
& The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
In the midst of growth and learning, the culinary world continues to be
one of my greatest interests. I wish, however, to continually evolve
and work within various milieus.
When camera not in hand, I can be found perusing travel magazines,
café people watching, or sipping Vouvray amongst friends.
