Hello, Bonjour, Hallo, Olá
& welcome to my portfolio!
Educated in film at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montréal,
I have since gone on to create a body of photographic work that
pairs cinematic framing with a documentary approach.
In an effort to radiate a timeless feel and sincere aesthetic,
when I point my lens at a subject, I feel that I am an intimate observer,
capturing the nuances and beauties that
would otherwise be overlooked.
While living in Toronto, I had the pleasure of documenting
Chef Patrick Kriss’s restaurants Alo, Aloette, Alobar Yorkville & Salon.
These works have been featured in enRoute Magazine,
Toronto Life Magazine, Today's Special by Phaidon, Canada's 100 Best Restaurants & The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
The culinary world has lended a wide breadth of knowledge and
appreciation for documenting intricacies and capturing an essence of place. Although the culinary world continues to be one of my greatest interests,
in the midst of growth, I hope to continually evolve and work
within various milieus.
When not photographing, I can be found café people watching,
perusing travel magazines or sipping Vouvray amongst friends.
